Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have insurance to see Christina?

No, you do not need to have insurance to see Christina. You are free to pay out-of-pocket. Sessions are $155 for 50 minutes.

Why don’t you take my insurance?

Accepting insurance is a costly and time consuming process for a counselor and many counseling practices are moving away from accepting insurance. While we don't accept insurance, we will provide you with receipts to submit to your insurance.

What is out of network billing?

Although we don't accept insurance, we provide a monthly superbill for your counseling session that can be sent to your insurance provider for partial reimbursement. We encourage you to talk to your insurance provider to determine what your out-of-network benefits are for reimbursement. When we create your bill, it will include a diagnostic code to you for the visit. For example, issues like anxiety, depression and ADHD would be listed.
